SECOND FLOOR (Live movie) 2010

performance duration: 1.5 hours

We built an apartment setting on the second floor of a construction site.

The audience was led to the second floor of a building across the street.

Their view included the street below, the hotel on the side, and the performance set.

The audience was asked to document the performance.

Their documentation will be part of the live movie.

I enter the room holding a suitcase, wearing a black business suit. 

I put the suitcase on the bed and smoke a cigarette by the window.

I take my clothes off, take scissors, and cut my hair.

I fold the hair into a newspaper and put it in the suitcase.

I wear a white robe and drink wine with an imaginary friend.

I prepare the bed for sleep.

A man with a mask enters the room and attacks me from behind.

His instructions were to attack me and leave after 20 minutes.

(The man fractured my skull and sexually assaulted me multiple times. He left after 40 minutes.)

I get up and smoke a cigarette.

I go to bed.
