Ms. Understanding

In 2009, I began this series of conversations with performance artists in the bathtub. We were sponsored by an “hourly hotel,” which provided us with a suite and a bath to film the conversations. It was more of an intention at first, because I was really shy, and because it wasn’t until we moved to Brooklyn that I was actually part of an artist community. Below are images from a series of interviews with some of my favorite artists in my bathtub, created for Glasshouse Project in Brooklyn, as part of the Wednesdays program (2017- 2018).
