Embracement (2015)
Embracement is a work I keep revisiting since 2003. In this fifth iteration, performed on the fifth day of Hanukkah in 2015, I sit, holding a corsage of thistles, I light five candles embedded in the bouquet, and slowly roll my upper torso with a bandage ball, embroidered with feminist quotes since its Berlin iteration Good Intentions in 2008.
