A 3h durational performance at the Marina Abramovic Institute West, 2010
I am seated on a pedestal, holding a corsage of local thistles and a ball made of bandages. The bandages were woven with feminist phrases for a 2008 performance, Good Intentions, in Berlin. It is the fourth iteration of this performance, which began as a video performance in the Dead Sea in 2003, continued as a performance in my installation in 2004, a live performance titled Good Intentions in 2008, a collaborative performance titled Women’s Choir in 2010, this iteration later that year, and a later iteration in 2015.
